Most of ZZCC's adventures happen on real roads — mist, gradient, wind, a horizon that actually moves. This one happened entirely on Zwift, on two Wattbike smart trainers set up in Hall 3DE of the HKCEC, with ten riders taking turns to keep the effort alive.

ZZCC partnered with RAFT.CC, a Hong Kong cycling team, to field a ten-strong squad — including two riders holding down the women's spots — for the Tour de 1000KM Team eCycling Challenge, the marquee event of Sportfest 2026, title-sponsored by Van Rysel Decathlon. Three days, one cumulative 1,000km target split across a punishing 240 / 380 / 380km daily schedule, and only two bikes per team to get it all done — which meant constant handoffs, tight rotations, and zero time for any one rider to properly rest.
A different kind of adventure. We've ridden real climbs and real descents for every other ZZCC story — this time the road was virtual, but the effort wasn't. Ten riders sharing two saddles for three straight days is its own kind of suffering: no downhill to recover on, no wind to hide behind, just watts, a rotation schedule, and the rider next in line watching the clock.

And yes, we showed off the kit. RAFT.CC normally race in Rapha — so for three days the HKCEC floor got a genuinely rare sight: ZZCC and Rapha kit sharing the same team tent, the same rotation, the same relay clock. Two brands, one squad. With riders cycling through in matching colourways all weekend, it made for ZZCC's biggest public runway yet — and the crowd noticed. The event host unofficially crowned us the "顏值代表" (the looks/style representatives) of the floor. We'll take it. Turns out a good kit does more than perform.

The result: 4th place out of 7 teams. Not the podium, but not the story either. Three days sharing two bikes could have felt like a grind — and it was — but what we walked away with was a lot more friends, a lot of shared suffering, and a genuinely good time.
